Rite Aid June 16, 2012

I made a quick trip to Rite Aid this morning as I had $40 in +Ups which were going to expire tomorrow.  Much to my surprise, while prepping to head out this morning I realized I had $60 in +Ups which were going to expire Tuesday.  If you know me very well at all then you know that I have a very hard time spending $90.

I actually did pretty well for a trip that was thrown together at the last minute.

I stopped at the Seneca Rite Aid first because I wanted to see if they had gotten any of the Schick Hydro Silk razors in so I could use my raincheck this week because each razor was giving a $2 +Up.  I did 4 transactions using $54 in +Ups, and received back $35 in +Ups.  I spent $6.35 out of pocket.

Not bad for:
9 Schick Hydro Silk razors
3 cans Schick saving cream
24 assorted Revlon beauty tools (emery boards, clippers)
2 DiGornio pizzas
1 can of salt
2 boxes of freezer bags
some socks
and a cherry on top

Next I stopped at the Clemson Rite Aid so I could pick up the Axe Body Spray.  I did 4 transactions using $50 in +Ups, and received back $16 in +Ups.  I spent $4.46 out of pocket.  Had I thought about it I should have used one of my $3 Catalinas, which would have made the out of pocket only $1.46.

Not bad for:
6 DiGorno pizzas
3 12pks of pepsi
8 cans of Axe
some socks.

Rite Aid has fixed their glitch- Good deal if you need some Foster Grants for $10.00

Looks like Rite Aid fixed this deal.  You can now purchase the actual deal which is:
Buy Reading glasses/sun glasses which are $17.99 or more and receive a $10 +UP - limit 4 deals

This deal may not last long.  If you need some Foster Grants you need to run to Rite Aid.  Limit is 2 deals.

I started with $20 in RA +Ups so my cost was $2.46 a pair.  I left with $20 in RA +Ups.  Now that is a deal.  I did have to buy a filler item in order to use the $20 +Ups so I picked up something I could use from the $1 area.

Even if you pay for the first pair, you can still walk out of RA with 2 pair of good sun glasses for $23.85.

$19.99 (1) pair of Foster Grants ($17.99 or more)
$ 1.40  tax

Walgreens - FREE Colgate Toothpaste

Do you want some 'FREE' Colgate Toothpaste (4 oz or 5.8 oz)?  Walgreens has a deal right now with an unlimited "rolling" Catalina !!!  You will need to buy the same size toothpaste in the transaction or you will not get the unlimited Cats!

Your first transaction will cost $4.00-$4.50 (depending on the coupons you use) plus cost of filler item/tax.  After that your transaction will be Free - $.50 (depending on the coupons you use) plus cost of filler item/tax.

Colgate Total Toothpaste (4 oz or 5.8 oz) 2/$6
Buy: 2, Receive: $4 Register Reward*
Use: $1/1 Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste (ALL YOU, Dec’ 11)
or $1/1 Colgate Total Toothpaste (Walgreens Diabetes & You, Winter-found near the Pharmacy)**
or $1/1 Colgate Total Advanced, et al. (1/15 SS) <- If you get it early
or $1/1 Colgate Total Advanced, 4 oz.+ (Found in Bonus Pack – see below)
or 75¢/1 Colgate Toothpaste, 4 oz.+ (1/1 SS #2)
or 50¢/1 Colgate Toothpaste, 4 oz.+ (12/4 SS)
Pay: $4, Receive: $4 Register Reward*
Final Price: FREE

* A rolling Catalina means you can use it to pay for your subsequent purchase and it will still print another catalina.  (Normally you can not use a catalina and receive a identical catalina)  Just be sure you add a filler item (e.g. caramel) to your purchase if you use three coupons (2 MQ + 1 RR).  Remember that at Walgreens you need a number of items equal to or greater than the number of manufacturer’s (includes Register Rewards) coupons you plan to use.  And your total will need to equal the cost of the toothpaste and the filler item.  Walgreens does not pay coupon overage.

** Thanks Maricela!  This coupon can be found in the store.

Try this:
    Buy: 2 x Colgate Total Toothpaste $6.00
and 1 x Filler Item (I’d recommend 33¢ caramel or 29¢ knee highs)
    Use: 2 x $1/1 Colgate Toothpaste
and $4.00 Register Reward (from previous transaction)
Pay: $0, Receive: $4.00 Register Rewards <- Just pay for filler + tax.
Final Price: FREE plus cost of filler item/tax

Rolling Catalinas are very RARE.  This can be corrected by Walgreens at anytime.  If you want to do this deal DO NOT wait.  Go do it now.  Let me know if it works for you
