Rite Aid
I earned 20% off my purchases at Rite Aid last year buy purchasing $1,000 + in merchandise. This 20% off is good through 12/31/2011. This 20% off applies to items which are not on sale, or it applies if it is a better deal then the sale price.
If you notice in my scenario below I've noted that the 20% makes the Old Spice Body Wash cheaper then the sale price. I found out last night that the 20% also makes the Old Spice Deoderant cheaper then the sale price. This caused my P&G products to only total to $29.75.....We ended up returning everything and then reringing my original purchases. I was going to include another Sinex but the register told me otherwise. There is a limit of 3 of that kind of medication. I had to think quick on my feet.....I ran back and picked up the nighttime Sinex....since it was different it rang up. Whew !!!! I gave the Assistant Manager the additional $4 Sinex coupon and an additional $1 +Up. I may have had to give him some more change, but I don't have my receipt in front of me right now.
And I got my well deserved $10 +Up...
Just a reminder. Couponing is not for the meak and faint of heart. Couponing is alot of work, but the rewards you get for all that work is well worth it to me.
Buy $30 worth of P&G products get $10 +Up (limit 2 - $10 +UPs
possibly scenario:
2 Old Spice Body Wash - $4.97@ (20% makes them $3.83)
2 Old Spice Deo - $3.97@
3 Vicks Sinex - $4.97@

Bi-Lo
This was a really weird couponing experience. I did 2 separate transactions and the first one was stressful :-)
For starters the pasta was tagged on the shelf as being on sale for $1.25 while on the front page of the sale paper it clearly says $ .99. So once they rang up the pasta they deleted it, instead of just deleting $ .26 x 5. They re-added $ .99 x 5 grocery which meant the pasta coupons wouldn't find the pasta so they had to hand enter those. When she hand doubled the 5th coupon she only entered $ .11. I didn't catch it or I would have asked her to fix it. As you can see though I paid $.99 for each box of pasta and the coupons took off $1.10 a box. So I won't complain about $.44 :-)
$14.85 (15) boxes Muellers pasta (maccaroni, spaghetti, thin spaghetti)
$29.97 (3) Purina Little Bites dog food
$ 1.98 (2) Bestlife Buttery Spread
$46.80
$ 1.80 tax
-$16.06 (15) $ .55 off a box of Muellers pasta (14 were doubled..confusion on the 15th
ended up with it only taking off $.66.
-$ 6.00 (3) $2.00 off a bag of Purina dog food
-$ 1.99 (2) $1.00 off Bestlife Buttery Spread
$24.55 out of pocket
Our Fuel Perks are up to $ .20 off a gallon of gas, up to 20 gallons. Woo Hoo !!!

CVS
My deals didn't go as planned. Be ready with back up deals.
The stores didn't have 7 boxes of Finish dishwasher detergent.
I did get 2 rainchecks, so I will be getting those in the next few weeks.
Wisk was in stock so I used a raincheck from last week:
$25.00 (5) Wisk 50oz.
-$ 5.00 $5/$25 CVS coupon
-$10.00 (5) $2 Wisk mq
-$10.00 $10 ECB
$ 1.20 tax
$ 1.20 out of pocket
earned $10 ECB
I still wanted the extra $10 ECB so I could get free Diet Pepsi, so I did the deal below:
$ 6.00 Airwick Freshmatic
$ 6.00 Lysol Nutriair
$ 6.00 Lysol Nutriair
$ 3.00 Finish Power tabs

-$ 2.25 Finish
$ 1.20 tax

CVS has marked their remaining Christmas items 90% off. I pick these up for $1.99 a piece.
$ 9.95 (5) Mini cupcake makers
$ 3.98 (2) Rice cookers
$ .84 tax
$14.77 out of pocket
If I had purchased the Pepsi's (next purchase) I could have used $10 ECB's on this order...DOH)
I noticed a sign that said 2 liters were 5/$5. I did a little math and saw that I could get almost double the amount of soda if I bought 20-2 liters instead of 6-12 packs. I asked the cashier if I could also take a couple of the blue bottle holders, but that was a no go. Now to find somewhere to store 20-2 liters of Diet Pepsi.
I didn't realize Jack was checking out what I bought. He and Springer always have to check to see if I bought them bones or biscuits :-)

$ 2.39 (2) Diet Coke 20oz
-$20.00 (2) $10 ECB's
-$ 1.00 $1 ECB
